A damaged roof doesn't wait for a convenient time, and neither do we. Big Toms Roofing keeps trucks staged around Martinsville so a certified roofer can be looking at your roof within hours, not days, with a straight-talk estimate before any work starts.
We built Big Toms Roofing to fix a problem every homeowner in Martinsville has run into: contractors who don't return calls, no-show for appointments, or pad the invoice once the tarp's already on the roof. Our Skylight Repair crews are local, licensed, and accountable — every estimate is in writing before a single shingle gets pulled.
From a single missing shingle to a full tear-off, our Martinsville crews handle every stage of roofing work with the same attention to detail — licensed, permitted, and cleaned up when we leave.
When a tree limb punches through decking or shingles peel back in a wind event, water gets in fast. We prioritize emergency calls in Martinsville above scheduled work, get a tarp on within hours, and document everything with photos for your insurance file.
A Skylight Repair replacement is one of the biggest investments a Martinsville homeowner makes in their property, and we treat it that way — daily site cleanup, magnetic nail sweeps, and a final walkthrough with the crew lead before we consider the job done.
We work directly with property management companies and HOAs across Martinsville to keep flat and low-slope roofs maintained on a predictable schedule, instead of waiting for emergency calls that disrupt business.
A lot of roof failures are preventable with a twice-a-year inspection catching lifted flashing or worn pipe boots before they turn into interior water damage. Our Martinsville inspection service checks the field, flashing, penetrations, gutters, and attic ventilation, then hands you a written report with photos.
A roof is only as good as the parts that direct water off it. We repair and replace step flashing, valley flashing, chimney flashing, and gutters that have pulled away from the fascia — small jobs that prevent big leaks down the road.
Every one of these commitments exists because a Martinsville homeowner asked for it, complained about a competitor's lack of it, or we learned it the hard way.
You'll know the exact scope and cost in writing before work starts, and that number doesn't move unless you approve a change.
Local dispatch means less time waiting and more time getting your roof actually fixed.
Our installers hold current manufacturer certifications, which means your warranty stays intact and the work meets code.
Every completed job comes with a written workmanship warranty separate from the manufacturer's material warranty.
Our team has sat through enough adjuster meetings in Martinsville, IL to know what documentation actually moves a claim forward.
We treat your yard and driveway like we'd want ours treated — swept, protected, and cleared before we leave each day.
We don't cherry-pick these — they're representative of the calls, texts, and reviews we get after most Skylight Repair jobs in Martinsville.

"As a property manager I've worked with a lot of roofing companies and Big Toms Roofing is one of the few that actually communicates before showing up and after the job's done."
"Bought a house in Martinsville last year and had them do the pre-purchase inspection. Found flashing issues the seller ended up covering. Saved us thousands before we even closed."
